The beach cottage has been furnished with great attention to detail and offers a cozy retreat where you can simply unwind and let your mind wander. This luxurious half of a thatched-roof house features approximately 85 m² of living space and can accommodate up to 5 people, complete with a garden of approximately 900 m² that includes a dune and an outdoor sauna with a garden shower.
The property, which includes a parking space, a large lawn, and a sheltered, sunny terrace (southwest-facing), is landscaped with native plants and features a dune. From a beach chair, you can enjoy the view across the vast meadows, the forest, or the dune.
A garden sauna with a view of the dune provides additional relaxation. A storage room with an electrical outlet can be used for bicycles.
All you need to do is open the front door, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by nature with an endless view across the meadows.
This beautiful thatched-roof house is located in the idyllic village of Tating, just a few minutes from the resort town of St. Peter-Ording, right next to the famous “Hochdorfer Garten” park and not far from the best cake on the peninsula at the “Schweizer Haus.”
With its historic town center and easy access to the sandy beach at Ording, Tating offers the perfect balance between relaxation and activity. Here you can leave everyday life behind, enjoy the peace and quiet, and in just 5 minutes be in St. Peter-Ording to shop, stroll, dine out, and enjoy the sea, the salt marshes, and the endless expanse. Beach parking is available on the Ordinger and Böhler beach sections. You’ll find walking and biking trails in the immediate vicinity, as well as the Deichgrafenhof Golf Club, horseback riding stables, a fishing pond, a few good restaurants within walking distance, playgrounds, a play barn, and even an airfield. The train station in Tating is just 600 meters from the vacation home and is easily accessible on foot.



Thatched-roof house “Strandkoje”:

On the first floor is the light-filled living room with a TV, Apple TV, a small stereo system with an iPhone docking station, a wood-burning stove, an open kitchen, and a stylish, bright dining area with a view of the dunes. The living areas are furnished with exclusive pieces. The kitchen features high-quality appliances and leaves nothing to be desired, from a Nespresso machine to a waffle maker to a salad spinner. Adjacent to the living area is a hallway with a built-in coat closet, an utility room with a washer and dryer, and a bathroom with a shower. The entire first floor features high-quality whitewashed oak parquet flooring, which can be heated via underfloor heating.
A beautiful white wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, which is also finished with parquet flooring. Here you’ll find a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm), a bedroom with two single beds (each 90 x 200 cm), and a TV. There is also a cozy nook on the upper floor with a single bed (90 x 200 cm) for relaxing or playing. All bedrooms are equipped with blackout blinds and high-quality, well-tested mattresses to ensure a comfortable and restful night’s sleep. Closets provide ample storage space. In addition, there is another spacious bathroom with a shower on the upper floor. We’ve also taken care of our younger guests: there are toys, a travel crib, a high chair, children’s night lights, a children’s stool in the bathroom, and a children’s toilet seat.

On-site costs: Bed linens are included; towel sets can be booked for an additional fee. A set for one person consists of: 2 hand towels and one bath towel. You’re welcome to request a mid-stay cleaning or additional bed linens and towel sets during your stay for an extra charge.
