About this house rental
Named by the original owner/builder in 1957, Number 1 Beach House has been rebuilt featuring 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths (2 ensuite) plus powder room and outdoor shower. Sleeps 10 in bedrooms. Perfect for multiple families, or multiple generations, to vacation together in spacious comfort. Entering into the first floor where a Junior Queen w/ ensuite bath and heated tile floors is to your left. Perfect for folks who prefer a few less stairs (my 85 yr old mom!). It’s tucked away, spacious with a lovely attached full bath. A spa like hall bath plus a hall bedroom with 2 twin beds is perfect for the kiddos rounds out beds and baths. At the back of the first floor is large mid-century vibed living/family room, 47 inch TV and oversized sliders out to backyard, where a teak dining table-chairs, new Weber gas grill, poly wood chairs/seating areas and heated pool (SEASONAL - typically MAY - OCT***) await. The middle level is all living area containing a large living room, with 75 inch TV. Dining area seats 8, plus 4 counter stools at the over sized island. Professional grade kitchen including a Thermador dual fuel 6 burner gas range-electric oven, in-island microwave and beverage fridge. No expense was spared creating this chefs dream kitchen! Find a KitchenAid mixer, blender and other small appliances in the pantry. Enjoy 2 separate covered decks, a front relaxing area with large deep seating sectional plus loveseat and a rear dining area. Up the stairs the third floor Owners Room with King bed features a large marble bathroom with heated tile floors and double vanity sinks. Enjoy sunrise ocean views and sunset bay views from the owners private deck featuring 2 curved sofas and table + 2 chairs for a morning coffee or afternoon adult beverage. Down the hall two additional bedrooms share a hall bath. The middle hall bedroom contains a Queen bed and the large rear bedroom contains a Queen plus a desk and chair for our 'work from home' guests. All bedrooms have TV’s. All rooms have ceiling fans to take advantage of ocean breezes when weather permits. Fastest internet we could supply, with amplifiers on each floor to ensure you are never without signal - because we also work from home these days. Curated art and furnishings evoke an aesthetic that is relaxed and comfortable, yet chic and tailored. Off street parking for 4-5 cars. Weber gas grill for bar-b-ques. Park and walk to everything Avalon offers – beach, bay, boutiques, bottles, bars, groceries, games, desserts, dining – casual and fine. Two mini golf courses and 3 ice cream places within 3 blocks. Location is prime! Heated Pool available seasonally. NON SMOKING, no pets, no groups, no events, no parties. No single night stays . Available for rental year round. Two night minimum. Summer and Holidays rates higher. Discounts for longer stays and mid-week OFF SEASON dates. Summer dates min 7 nights (and booked through our local Realtor.)
Off season rentals typically have relaxed arrival and departure times. Off season includes sheets, bath and beach towels for 10 guests, no one wants to lug that stuff! We call it 'hotel style', simply pack your toothbrush and clothes.

The house was amazing! Linda left her cell phone number in case we needed anything. She provided sheets, towels, blankets and pillows. We had full use of the kitchen. It was better than staying in a hotel. There was a book left of notes about the area along with menus. We would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you Linda for everything!!

This property was perfect for our Easter weekend getaway. The location doesn’t get any better as we, including my MIL who has knee issues, were able to walk to Rock’N Chair for brunch as well as several nearby surf shops for everyone’s obligatory sweatshirt souvenir. The house itself was extremely well appointed and you could tell the owners have actually stayed because the kitchen had much more than the bare essentials! We used all but 1 bedroom, the middle room upstairs, and rooms we did use had great beds and convenient bathrooms. Loved the light, bright, clean decor too. The steps were steep for my MIL, but she took her time and managed fine. Good handrails! The host was professional and very communicative. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again!

This home is absolutely beautiful! Headed down for Thanksgiving weekend and the kitchen had everything we needed! All the way down to a nutmeg grater & potato peeler. Also, the cookware & dinnerware was lovely -- rather than random pieces left behind by others. Plenty of glasses, plates etc. Comfy beds, lots of rooms -- best house we've ever rented on VRBO. Hope to return in the summertime to enjoy the pool!
