Staying here was a traumatic an absolute, total nightmare, from entering, to priorly leaving!
The location perhaps? (Although it absolutely, could be closer to the most visited/recommended Nerja places).. Above all the NEEDED, unexpected support of a neighbor, witnessed not only my desperation with the alarm company (together-), language barriers (no one spoke english) but working, in the rental business herself coincidentally as well; even she, had been shocked, trying to calm me as a person down, with repeating, the most, totally neglected, clear/simple regulations and respect for guests in general!
Booking Toboso 2, had caused so much distress (after 6 other, not even comparable places in Nerja), it led not only to me fainting twice(!), the police had to be involved to say the least already! Sheer exhaustion and physical stress from the moment I arrived I faced, at this 'bad, booking mistake'. This apartment was a heavy failure, perhaps 'CGNerjaRentals', even more. Carrying up the stairs of all luggage and separate bags, due to a broken elevator (unsolved, for the total 13 days), a defective AC, broken kettle and a shower constantly remained 'almost' flooded, because of severe blockages -were the very first things noticed, at arrival + morning after.
On top of the internal failures, I respectfully informed the company about, I was subjected to constant noise from renovation works, neighbors around and elevator repair attempts, next to the apartment.
The hygiene was appalling: Eggshells on counters, sticky surfaces/all utensils; Unwashed with food leftovers(!), extreme amounts of breadcrumbs/seeds everywhere -and a sickening stench from SO it seemed, a bunch of old garlic from 2024, left in a cupboard. In total, inevitably; within a day, had caused a huge ant infestation.
As a solo traveler with a documented medical sleep disorder (DSPS) and a low BMI, I pleaded for rest. Instead, even though I sent my 'doctors Proof', the host systematically broke my sleep. Kept sendin unidentified staff and even forced entry with only 26 minutes notice, while I was asleep for some short hours. They explicitly mocked my disability, stating: 'I don’t care about your sleep disorder!' which triggered a severe hyperventilation attack while I stood there in tears.
Most insulting of all, the host Falsely accused me, of causing alarm malfunctions that tormented both me and the neighbors for 4 days(!). Iignored their own 'Emergency Line' and used intimidation instead of fixing their technical errors.
