Hive has no business being as affordable as it is with a location as good as it has. Multiple konbini nearby, two stations, multiple good restaurants, etc. Great for jetting anywhere in Tokyo you could want to go.
The rooms are a bit stuffy, which was fine last time I stayed in the winter, but with the late summer humidity in the air, I felt like I couldn't get dry. Use the air-conditioned common room before tackling the stairs if you're even the slightest bit warm.

Clean, close to train station, good price and friendly staff.
The room was hot, the bed was uncomfortable and no lockers with locks to lock your luggage.
