Awful. Front door wouldn’t lock, dirty!!! Refusing to reimburse!
Nothing.
Apartment door wouldn’t lock. I went to Lyon for a concert and missed half of it trying to solve this issue. The contact number provided is for a call center, and they did not help at all. I had to hide my valuable and documents around the apartment, push the couch against the door and hope my things were still there when I returned.
Ended up leaving for the concert super late, had to spend extra for an Uber instead of taking the train as planned.
I slept with the couch pushed against the door, which as a solo female traveler was terrifying. On top of all that, the doorframe was broken, showing clear signs of having already been forced!!
After I insisted, they sent someone to fix the door. They came around 12h, tried to fix it but couldn’t. The result was that the door would lock, but not unlock. At one point the guy left because the door would at least lock.
He returned because he forgot to give me something, and we could not unlock the door. He had to force it open from the outside.
Give this situation, I was forced to book a different apartment. Now booking/ the apartment management are refusing to reimburse me.
I’ve been calling them for weeks, and they keep giving me the run around, telling me they’ll call me back in 24 hours, which they never do.
On top of the door issue, the apartment was DIRTY. There was glitter all over the couch and rug, a big stain on the couch, the plates and pans still had tomato sauce on them. Hairs on the “freshly” made bed. When I took a shower, water leaked through the glass door, inundating everything. Overall poor conditions.
I am VERY unhappy and will be seeking legal action if I’m not reimbursed.
** it’s not possible to attach videos, or I would add the videos of the door not locking + the handyman forcing them it from the outside!!
