We had such a wonderful and unique stay at Floraly Komba. From the moment we arrived, we felt that the staff genuinely cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. They went out of their way to accommodate our wishes and were incredibly helpful with arranging excursions and transportation.
What we particularly appreciated was having the freedom to explore on our own. It was important to us not to be dependent on organised activities all the time, and Floraly Komba was perfect in that respect. We could easily walk to the village and the lemur park.
The setting is absolutely beautiful, with lovely views and stunning sunsets. We really enjoyed the rustic, natural feel of the whole place. It felt authentic and peaceful, and we loved that it wasn't crowded with tourists. At times, it genuinely felt like we had found our own little piece of paradise.
The food was another highlight. Everything was delicious and enjoyed by both the children and the adults. Each day we could choose between two different starters, main courses and desserts, which gave us plenty of variety throughout our stay. The food was fresh, tasty and, importantly for us, we felt completely comfortable eating it.
Our room was comfortable, and the whole property had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The tortoises around the playground were a particular hit with the children! We spent quite a lot of time there, and some of the tortoises were surprisingly fond of being cuddled, which was a lot of fun.
What we will remember most is how special and authentic the whole experience felt. Floraly Komba gave us the perfect combination of beautiful surroundings, delicious food, freedom to explore and genuinely personal service. It was also an excellent base for excursions, with the staff making everything easy while still giving us plenty of independence.
It was a truly special place, and we left with some wonderful memories.
