I don't think we could have found a more beautiful town and even better hotel to stay at along the Costa Brava. The location of this tiny 6 room "hotel" was just perfect. You are right in town on the water. The restaurant / bar below run by the hotel is fantastic and you can tell its popular as the locals frequent it and it is full throughout the day and well into the evening. In fact its less of a hotel and more of a set of apartment rooms. There is no reception you are simply handed your keys and use the facility. so this will not suit all travellers. The room was bigger than anticipated The town is simply beautiful with loads of restaurants and shops to explore. Beautiful walks and the Salvador Dali house just a cove away - you just walk up the hill and over the other side. I stayed with my daughter - we just LOVED it and highly recommend not only the hotel but the hidden gem of Cadaques

The only problem is you re in the "town" so it is noisy. The front door of the hotel is slammed shut every time someone enters or leaves and this is noisy. There is also the noise of the glass bottles from the restaurant being thrown into a bin often late at night and then the following morning the bin emptied - same level of noise This is my only negative. Parking is an issue in these tiny towns so you have to off load luggage outside the hotel and then park in a very nice parking lot. the problem is the cost, we managed to negotiate a price for the 4 days but it appeared that a lot of the other hotels in the area had an arrangement with the parking company and they got preferential rates. The parking is charged by the minute - so you can imagine the cost if you don't have an agreed 24 hour rate

Great location, very comfortable, clean and has everything for a pleasant stay.
