The property was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also in a great location, close to local shops and pubs.
There were only a couple of minor things, as we really loved our stay. Towards our final day, the pool became a little dirty and we weren’t sure how to clean it ourselves, so perhaps some guidance on pool maintenance would be helpful.
The air conditioning was only in the living area, so the bedrooms became quite warm at night and we had to rely on the ceiling fans. It would be great if full air conditioning could be considered throughout the property in the future, as this would make an already lovely property even more comfortable.

6 of us spent a week here and we had the best time! Everything was excellent and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful. It’s located just a short walk away from the main strip (Around 10 minutes to the strip and then further depending on how far down you go). There is a spar located around a 5 minute walk from the villa and it has everything you would need to stock up with food drinks and toiletries if needed. We hired electric scooters for €8.99 for 24 hours every day which made getting from each end of the strip really easy. They were located and parked just round the corner from the villa too so getting home was no problem. The whole villa was very clean and tidy. There were enough sun-beds for all of us and the pool was lovely. All the kitchen facilities were perfect and we had no issues. There is 2 bathrooms (One upstairs and one downstairs) which was perfect for us so there wasn’t a queue for the shower.
The only thing I would say is that there is only aircon downstairs so upstairs gets very hot. They have got fans above the beds which do help but it can get hot at night. It wasn’t necessarily an issue for us as we went late September but I imagine in peak summer it can get very hot.

Everything was perfect. We arrived early and Emilio met us, explained everything to us. The villa had all the essentials. We brought the makings of an Irish fry and even down to tin foil they had. A 6 litre of bottled water Emilio had waiting on us. Everything was made easy for us as being 7 months pregnant I couldn’t recommend it enough, we hired a car and there was parking outside for us. Emilio allowed us late check out which was amazing. Enough seats and lots of space for the 6 of us. Washing machine, irons etc the villa had. There was fans in every room, air con in the sitting room.

The apartment is clean, well equipped and generally comfortable, and the beds themselves are comfortable to sleep in. Unfortunately, several of the bed legs are broken or damaged on a number of the beds. One of the upstairs beds has a corner leg that folds underneath it, causing the whole bed to topple over. This is a big maintenance issue and should be fixed.
The slightly heated pool is a nice touch, and the balcony has a lovely view over the town and sea.
The main thing prospective guests need to know is that the property next door is currently a building site. We experienced substantial construction noise on several days. The work looks extensive and ongoing, and they appear to be preparing for further major work, possibly including a pool.
We were told nobody else had complained about construction noise, which is honestly very difficult to understand considering the amount of work taking place immediately next door.
There are several other issues that need attention. All the kitchen knives are blunt, and although the villa accommodates six people, there are only two normal mugs. Most of the other cups have tiny, impractical handles.
A number of the doors and locks are also frustrating to use. The front door can be difficult, the toilet door needs to be pushed hard before the lock lines up, and the balcony door is extremely difficult to slide.
The pool is cleaned and the filtration system works, but it becomes dirty quickly, particularly with the dust being generated by the neighbouring building work. Allowing guests to use the pool cover would probably help.
One final warning: don't park down the dead-end road. Park at the top instead, otherwise you risk getting blocked in.
The villa could be considerably improved with some basic maintenance and better kitchen equipment, but at present the ongoing construction next door is by far the biggest drawback.
