Good sized room with a very comfortable bed. My room was fairly high up so you couldn't hear much of the road from the outside. I thought the room itself was very good for the price, especially in comparison to other business hotels.
Koko hotel seems to be a bit more eco focused than other hotels which is an added bonus.
Awesome location which was far enough away from the station that you don't feel in the middle of everything, but you are still very central and have loads going on around you. You're also in West Sendai which means you're close to a lot of the tourist places like the castle, city museum, mausoleum on Date Masamune, etc.
Bus stops are very nearby and there's a multitude of Konbini and great restaurants on your doorstep.
The staff were very nice and spoke good English.
I was in a room by the elevators which is generally less preferable. You could hear a bit of people coming and going, but not enough to actually disturb you.

Staff was friendly, room with double bed was clean and bigger than the average (16 sqm instad of 10/11sqm) and with “parquet”
I would say that 4 star for this hotel is not very truthful because there were no spa or complementary facilities that could be accessed. The bathroom unit was a very basic one. I have been in other japanese 3 stars hotel that offered better amenities room and bathroom unit. I guess the truthful rating for this would be a 3 star hotel. If you are planning for a short stay is okey but don’t expect too much.
I have been in other better 4 stars hotel on the last japan stay that offered much miuch better for less and that also had an indoor onsen.
