We had a fantastic time at Cat Ba Xanh! The property offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that feels completely different from the busy center. Our room was spacious, bright, and featured comfortable bedding, clean tiles, and a hot shower with great pressure. The host arranged an amazing small-boat-tour of Lan Ha Bay for us, which included kayaking through limestone arches and swimming in clear water. The on-site scooter rental made getting around the island so convenient. Breakfast was hearty and freshly made. A 10/10 stay! The Wi-Fi can occasionally dip slightly during stormy mountain weather, though it generally worked well for browsing and navigation.

Thre family running it is genuinely kind and attentive. Our room was spotless, quiet, and had a lovely balcony overlooking the mountain slopes. The host took care of all our logistics: renting us a reliable scooter, giving us an island map with insider tips, and arranging our luxury bus back to Hanoi. The breakfast was generous and delicious, especially the fresh fruit and pancakes. We felt safe, comfortable, and warmly welcomed throughout! The host even gave us a free island map with great viewpoint markers. Carrying heavy luggage up the stairs requires some effort as there is no lift, but the staff kindly helped carry our bags right to our room.
