Canggu 2Plex was the third apartment I stayed in during my two months in Bali and I definitely saved the best place for last. While a little further from Nirvana Life and the action than I would have preferred, it was still within a five minute scooter ride and was the perfect type of accommodation for me and my purposes.
Loved the modern, minimalist, concrete but still warm aesthetic, with a well appointed kitchen and bathroom and spacious living area complete with a large couch and dining table to work at. The upstairs mezzanine bedroom with king-sized bed was comfortable and bright, and the little courtyard with plunge pool and tropical greenery offered a private and welcome refuge after a day walking around in the humid heat. I just loved how I felt really safe and secure and that the space was my own little sanctuary to enjoy.
The staff were kind and attentive and quick to resolve any issues or provide assistance if necessary.
I recommended Canggu 2Plex to friend in Bali who were looking for a place and would definitely stay there again.
The only negative things I can think of are the fact that the air-conditioner is located upstairs and unless left on all day, can take quite a bit of time to cool down the large open space (the apartment is one big double story room).
Block out curtains or blinds in the upstairs bedroom mezzanine would also be handy, as the existing Venetian blinds are not the most effective at blocking out the sunlight.
Oh, and be aware the apartment is located in a quiet area with not much around and a five minute walk to the closest convenience store. You need to plan ahead.
