Great place to stay! The room had everything I needed, was extremely clean and Sally made great breakfast. It took me 15 minutes by car from the airport, and another 15 minutes by bajaji to the port. Sally was an amazing host. She was so, so friendly and generous to me. She helped me with getting dinner, transport, ferry bookings, storing my bags, converting money… everything! Meeting her was a highlight of my time in Tanzania and I would absolutely stay here again.

Very close to the airport.
The room is big and clean, no air conditioning but there's a good fan in the room. Good wifi.
The host is super nice, and breakfast is delicious, freshly prepared.
A couple of bars in the area. Great option if you need to sleep close to the airport.
Keep in mind there's no hot water in the shower.

Not sure if I misread however not having hot water is important to know even when Dar is very hot, Sally was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Travelling alone with my children she was thoughtful enough to arrange a family member be available when she was not to ensure we were comfortable

The owner, Sally, is very welcoming and ensures that you have a pleasant stay.
There is no plan for breakfast for guests intending to catch early flights. I suggest stocking up on a few on-the-go food items for such guests.
