Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in Venice. Es handelt sich um ein Appartement-Gebäude mit 6 Wohnungen. Wir hatten Glück und waren im EG, da das Haus keinen Aufzug hat und wir mit einigem Gepäck unterwegs waren.
In der Wohnung gibt es Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, eine Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine (irgendein neues Ding von Nespresso - die Kapseln habe ich vorher noch nie gesehen und es kam kaum Kaffee raus).
Da alles recht klein und kompakt ist, steht ein Teil des Geschirrs im Kleiderschrank und es gibt keine Möglichkeit zu kochen.
Im Badezimmer gibt es den Lichtschalter, der aber gleichzeitig Bewegungsmelder ist und dazu geführt hat, dass das Licht ausging während man unter der Dusche gestanden hat :-(

The 3 bedroom apartment is beautiful. It was great having 3 bathrooms so each couple had their own. More than enough space in the open living area. Beds were comfortable. The location is incredibly close to the beach. Although we never met any staff, check in and check out was seamless and it was great having a keycode to open doors rather than worry about keys etc.
The beach area closest to the apartment and when you turn right towards Santa Monica is very lively and absolutely fine in the daytime but when it gets dark and the shops close etc I feel you need to be a bit more aware of your surroundings along the beach.. However the one evening we walked to the beach and turned left and walked down to Venice Pier, as this is walking alongside the residential area it feels a lot safer and the bars / restaurants were fab. This is more of a recommendation than a criticism and certainly shouldn't put you off from booking this lovely apartment.

Die Lage in zweiter Reihe hinter dem Boardwalk ist gut.
Das Apartment war sauber und das Bett bequem.
Das Studio 1 ist im Erdgeschoss, muffelt feucht (wie Keller) und hat zwei Fenster in Straßenhöhe, wobei das eine Fenster direkt auf die nächste Betonwand schaut und das andere von einem Auto zugeparkt ist. Die Fotos auf der Website sind irreführend, da sie eine Aussicht vorgaukeln, die es nicht gibt. Zwar ist auf dem kleinen Gebäude eine Dachterrasse, hat aber mit dem Apartment nichts zu tun. Sehr schade. Es müsste die Lage im Erdgeschoss erwähnt werden.
