It is very strategically located in the city, near to the bus terminal, just a short walk to the beautiful well-worth visiting Casa de Los Vendators. The hostel setup is pretty cool as it has a spacious open air yard where all the hostel activities are, creating a good interactions for the guests. I quite like the concept of all-sharing of showers and restrooms.
The kitchen utensils, cutleries could and should be improved for the guests sake

Beds were comfortable and facilities good. Best thing were the staff that were very helpful and kind. In particular, Katia. Who gave me tons of recommendations and now I am in Oaxaca thanks to her.
I wish the fitted sheets stay in place.

The property location was great - central to the city and close to attractions and local eateries. Wifi worked great and the common garden area is beautiful
I did not like that the Air Con is only on during 10pm-7am - so if you're thinking to cool off midday or take a nap, forget about it! Impossible with the Yucatan heat. When traveling, mid-day breaks are essential to recharge before evening activities. Also, no showers or bathrooms in the rooms, they are all outside so you have to leave the room and walk to the showers and bathroom, and get ready and brush your teeth in front of other guests
