The bathroom was nice and was done recently. The property had all the appliances needed. A nice place to stay for a short trip to Madrid. Located central to all attractions
A few areas of the property needs to be touched up (cleaned thoroughly or new furniture is needed). The area outside the apartment at night is very quiet, feeling slightly unsafe

The location of the apartment is very suitable for exploring the center of Madrid. It is close to the Metro and close to museums.
On arrival, late in the evening, the apartment had not been cleaned and there were no clean towels (pictures below). The staff only spoke spanish and would only communicate through Whatsapp. The response time and the response of the staff was in general that we were not their priority. Also the discussion about a refund because we had to wait the following morning for the cleaning service in order to be able to take a shower, was constantly that it was up to management to make this decission. And to my biggest surprise the organization had the guts to send an email after check-out for an additional cleaning charge of €50.
Also informing the staff about a broken hinge of a cabinet door in the kitchen, the first reaction was if we caused this.
The bed is also very hard. The noise on the street and on the courtyard is not reduced at all.
