Communication with Gemma was excellent. Very responsive and helpful. She was waiting for us at the house to show us the ropes and then quickly left us to settle in, but was on hand for the couple of enquiries we made during the stay.
The kitchen was really nicely stocked with crockery, cutlery etc and the showers, once the hot water came through, were excellent.
It's also, as is obvious from the photos, really, really stylish. And not just from an Instagram-able sense, the quality of the fit out was superb.
Finally, we were really glad we stayed in Lagoa. We weren't looking for a Brits Abroad kind of holiday, so decided to stay inland rather than in one of the coastal towns, and Lagoa was perfectly situated for easily exploring the region - we visited Sagres and Tavira, and plenty in between including Carvoerio and Portimao, and it was all very accessible. Furthermore, Gaspacho & Migas (restauranant) and Pasteleria Algarve (patisserie/cafe) were both brilliant and a five minute walk away.
There was quite a bit of noise caused by the boiler - this seemed to travel through the air con into the kitchen. And speaking of the kitchen, it's gorgeous to look at, and has everything you need, but the drawers are a total pain to close.

This is a beautiful, stylish, luxurious and large house, with high-end furniture and appliances. Wonderful quiet and private patio with a plunge pool (about 1,25 cm deep). Very well equipped kitchen, which also has some basics like coffee (Nespresso machine), oil and salt upon arrival. Located on the corner of two quiet streets. Single fourth bedroom with bathroom in a gardenhouse seperated from the rest. We had a wonderful stay!
Nothing really, but good to know one double bedroom on the first floor is open space and offers less privacy. Parking in the street can be difficult if you arrive late at night.
