It is a quirky place. Looks very plain from the front but was a lovely place to stay. Great service from arrival to departure. Food was superb. After checking out we were on our way to Sunderland when we realised we hadn't tipped the staff so, we turned back and did so. That's how good it was. Will definitely return.

This is a Lovely hotel, situated in an area with local shops and free parking. The food is absolutely 1st class and freshly cooked! The staff go out of their way to help. If there is a problem it is dealt with immediately, professionally and efficiently. We are fussy guests and have stayed previously and would stay again! Well done team!!
