Exclusive vacation bungalow on the stunning Lake Magdalen – your private paradise
Experience an unforgettable vacation in our exquisite vacation bungalow, located directly on the enchanting Lake Magdalen. This small, privately used swimming lake is fed exclusively by groundwater of drinking-water quality and is only about 4 kilometers from downtown Villach. Enjoy the privileged location and let yourself be enchanted by the breathtaking view of the lake.
Our vacation bungalow, available for rent, offers you the perfect retreat for a luxurious getaway. The spacious living room invites you to relax while you let your gaze wander over the lake from your own seating area and the adjoining sun deck. The large swimming dock and the lakeshore area—shared with guests from the second vacation home—allow you to enjoy refreshing swims and sunbathing right on the water. Two of the four sun loungers on the swimming dock are reserved exclusively for you during your stay.
Our vacation bungalow impresses with its first-class amenities and offers a very inviting living atmosphere. Spanning approximately 50 m², you’ll find a spacious and cozy living room, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, and a small bedroom with a single sofa bed. Enjoy the warm summer days on your own patio or relax on the adjacent sun deck made of larch wood. For your convenience and to protect your vehicle, a parking space is available in the on-site double carport right next to the property.
The vacation bungalow is furnished down to the smallest detail. In the living room, you’ll find an elegant teak dining table for two, as well as a cozy designer couch by Bretz. A Denon stereo receiver with high-end Piega speakers and Bluetooth connectivity ensures high-quality sound. Relax in front of the 55-inch smart TV with streaming capabilities and HD satellite reception. A cozy Persian rug and a sliding door leading to the open terrace area lend the room a special atmosphere.
The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed and a flat-screen TV with satellite reception. The small bedroom features a couch that can be used as a sleeper sofa, as well as a desk.
In the fully equipped kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to satisfy your culinary preferences, from a Teka stove and a Nespresso coffee maker to a dishwasher. The bathroom features a shower, a toilet, a sink with a large mirror, and a hair dryer.
The patio is accessible directly from the living room and features a teak dining table for four, comfortable and lightweight armchairs, and a spacious awning. From there, you can step out onto the adjacent sun deck, where you can enjoy the sun on two high-quality “Stern” sun loungers or—thanks to its own awning—relax in the shade.
An air conditioning unit in the kitchen ensures comfortable temperatures and can cool the entire house as needed. A ceiling fan is also available in the living room. A Wi-Fi router can be provided upon request. Bed linens, towels, and one bath towel per person are provided, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
(Note for larger families or couples traveling together: The second, slightly smaller bungalow, located just below ours, is managed by family members. If this bungalow is available during your requested dates, it is theoretically possible to rent the entire property, including both bungalows.)
Our vacation bungalow is located in Carinthia, one of the most beautiful, best-situated, and safest regions in Central Europe. Here you’ll find high mountains, idyllic alpine pastures, dozens of swimming lakes, and imposing castles. Right on your doorstep, you’ll discover wonderful hiking and biking trails, as well as a true paradise for bikers (motorcycles and bicycles). The safety situation is excellent, and medical care is first-rate. Enjoy the tap water, the warm summers, the snowy winters with excellent ski resorts, and the numerous attractions and events at Lake Wörthersee. Sports activities such as golf, tennis, squash, cycling, and rock climbing are available in the immediate vicinity. You can reach Italy within 30 minutes, and the Adriatic Sea in less than two hours (Grado, Lignano, Caorle, etc.). You’ll want to come back again and again.
