Upon our arrival at 2:00 PM, we found the house doors open and littered with bags of leftover food, which made for a very unpleasant experience upon check-in. We tried to contact the villa owner via the Booking.com number listed as 91755451, but it kept opening and closing without any real response.
We had to contact Booking.com via international dialing (+44 2033202609), and they responded immediately. However, check-in didn't take place until 5:00 PM, and only the first floor was ready. The ground floor had been completely cleaned and organized by 6:00 PM.
The person in charge (Yemeni nationality) who contacted us via the aforementioned number apologized for the misconduct and promised to give us a discount, but this never materialized.
Had it not been for Booking.com's intervention, the experience would have been even worse, especially since it occurred during the height of the fall season, when housing prices are high and scarce. This was followed by an arduous journey of several hours by car, followed by an additional three-hour wait.
