Beautiful view, very peaceful as there were very few people around. Kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and crockery but the oven was old and unreliable. The swimming pool was lovely.
Normal things that you would expect such as foot towel for the bathroom, cleaning cloths , decent pillows (they were truly awful) were not present.
The twin beds are too small for an adult man. Three bulbs had blown, one on the stairs, which was obviously dangerous. We reported this and the pillows to the agent, but apparently the owner was only prepared to do something about this when he visited the following weekend. The freezer was very iced up and needed defrosting. We also reported this. We only had to hire linen for two beds thankfully as the charges for sheets and towels was high.
This is the only place we have ever stayed where you are expected to provide your own linen and towels, not even a tea towel in the kitchen or soap in the bathroom.
