It is honestly difficult to put into words how special our stay at Loving Strangers was. Everything is done with so much love, thought and attention to detail. It is beautifully kept, incredibly clean, warm and welcoming, and from the moment you arrive, you feel at home.
What makes this place truly exceptional, though, are the people behind it. You can feel their passion in everything they do and in the way they genuinely care for their guests. We stayed as a family with our eight-year-old daughter and felt so wonderfully looked after from beginning to end.
We now have a child at home who still gets teary-eyed because she misses Pico, Loving Strangers and the people and cats she met there. She talks about them often and will carry these memories with her for the rest of her life.
We are incredibly grateful for the warmth, kindness and love we experienced here. Some places you simply stay at. Others become part of your memories. Loving Strangers, Stefan and all the cats, will stay in out memories. #hugs
all wonderful

Immaculately clean hostel with very welcoming and friendly hosts. The bunk beds were comfortable with blackout curtains that offered excellent privacy. Everyone was very respectful of each other. The hosts make breakfast for the guests and the group goes out for dinner together. There are cats around but they are never allowed indoors.
Nothing,. This is the best hostel that I've stayed at and would gladly return.

The garden and terrace are really very nice. You enjoy it especially in the evening, because the room is rather small in size. The welcome is warm and lives up to the establishment's name.
Pity you cannot see Pico (mountain) directly from the property, preferably from terrace, and have to go to the street (please take it as a joke).
