This is a large hotel geared for summer and winter visits. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room had beautiful views over the Batak lake. The pool is large and excellent with stunning view over the lake.
Although the area is advertised as having hiking this wasn't available, with no trails into the hills or hiking guides. There were hardly any guests as we were out of season so were rattling around with ratio of staff to residents. We did not enjoy the food at all sadly, apart from the salads.

Приятен хотел с вежлив персонал ,добра локация, красива гледка към язовира, комфортни топли джакузита , добре оборудвана фитнес зала макар и малка.
Басейнът беше сравнително хладен за сезона и почти не го ползвахме, нито ние нито останалите гости .Храната -бедна и нищо особено ,в никакъв случай не отговоря на 5* хотел . Едното ми дете втората вечер си остана гладно и нямаше какво да си избере . Лирата в банята ни не работеше и халатите и банските ни не можеха за изсъхнат, обличахме ги мокри . Климатика ни беше развален и не духаше на топло.Никаква анимация не видях, макар че в първата вечер от престоя ни беше обявено ,че ще има кино прожекция за децата с пуканки. Децата ми пожелаха за играят билярд и хокей и помолихме на рецепцията за жетони ,защото машината,която обменя не работеше. На рецепцията ми дадоха сама 2 жетона като ми обясниха,че са свършили.Прекарахме 2 те вечери след вечеря на тенис масата , защото нямаше с друго какво да се забавляваме след вечеря.
За парите които платихме сме получавали по-добро обслужване дори в хотел с 4* така, че сме лека разочаровани.

The 5 stars of this place are very Bulgarian, if you're used to European standards this should be 3 stars. The view was nice and the food was good. The bed was hard which is our preferred type of mattress. Everything else is a disaster.
The walls were so thin you could hear the TV and people talking in the next room. The music by the pool was blasting to the point you need to wear earplugs if you want peace. They say it's all inclusive but the drinks are paid separately, including water, guess the price? 2.5€ for a small plastic bottle. The bathroom doesn't have a shower cabin so everything gets wet, it's third world... The furniture in the rooms is the cheapest you can imagine and, the coffee machine was broken... It was not worth the money at all.
