The apartment was clean and comfortable. The area is withing the city: busy but it was safe to walk around with good choice of bars, restaurants, shops. Contact with the hosts was by WhatsApp but efficient and cordial. Great location for transport and taxis.
Although clean and comfortable generally, I was disappointed with stains on the two sofas. A bit off-putting. There are long term roadworks in the street and this was very noisy some of the time. If you think this will disturb you, it might be worth checking the progress of the works for the date of your visit.

Plenty of space. All the basics we needed. Good for local transport. Office with helpful staff opposite although we didn’t know this until we left.
The noise at night (neighbouring rooms which kept us awake until 1 am on two nights. The fact that someone saying they were the business rep for the property tried to scam us before we arrived and asked us to fill in a form with our arrival time via WhatsApp and then take the deposit. Luckily they failed because I remembered I had already put arrival time on booking.com not the property fault but a data breach somewhere so please be aware everyone!

The bedrooms were comfortable, the bathrooms were spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There was great water pressure. We were on the 2nd floor (by US count would be the 3rd floor) and were relieved to be able to use the elevator. The location was secure; with a locked door at the entry way to the apartment building. The neighborhood was quiet; although the construction in the area woke us up at 8am on a few days. The staff was very helpful and communicative in the weeks and days before our stay as well as at our arrival. We loved being a block from the Sant Antoni market. We were a 15 minute walk from Las Ramblas and other key sites.
Noise carries easily in the building hallways - there were a couple of evenings when neighbors kept us up.

Disappointing. The laundry was just an outside room with perpex over the roof. the rain got in at night.
the location was probably not the best with many roadworks around the place.
Kitchen equipment was a bit sparse.
