We booked this apartment because we wanted to have laundry facilities while walking the GR65. The apartment is very charming and rustic--it has a fairy-tale feel--and a washing machine (though not a dryer--there is a drying rack). The village is very small and there are few services. However, the owner very helpfully told us about a little food store just across the apartment from which one could order dinner and do (small) groceries. Be sure to arrive before 6 pm because the food store closes then! The owner of the food store is very kind and will bring you your dinner that you can heat up in the microwave.
Not the owner's fault: if you are using luggage transfer, be sure to specify "en haut" or else your luggage will be delivered to the apartment on the lower part of the house!

This is a perfect location for Pilgrims on the GR65 or anyone needing a cozy place to stay in the heart of Lascabanes. Juliette was so kind in arranging for the owners of the local café to make us dinner and she had breakfast for us. There is plenty of hot water for showers and a full kitchen to cook in. The house stayed cool even though it was quite warm when we were there. It is a truly cozy cottage.
