DO NOT BOOK READ & BELIEVE ALL BAD REVIEWS – misleading listing and failed accommodation -WELL BELOW ACCEPTABLE STANDARDS.

DO NOT BOOK – misleading listing and failed accommodation This property is NOT AS DESCRIBED due to significant discrepancies between the listing, poor communication, and failure to deliver the booked accommodation. I booked Unit 308 and contacted the property prior to arrival to confirm arrangements, which were confirmed. However, upon arrival , I was informed that the unit was NOT AVAILABLE and was relocated to Unit 703 without prior notice. The accommodation provided did not match the listing. Several advertised amenities were missing, including NO WIFI, a TV, NO TOWELS, NO IRON, a HAIR DRYER, and TOILET PAPER on arrival. Although the listing stated two beds or a sofa bed, only ONE BED was provided, and TWO people were left sharing a SINGLE TOWEL. Basic hospitality standards were not met. Booking.com was contacted during the stay; however, the issues were NOT RESOLVED. Following the stay, I attempted to raise a dispute, but the property provided an account of events that does not reflect my experience. The issues were described as minor (such as tissue and air conditioning), which does not accurately represent the extent of the missing amenities or the failure to provide the booked accommodation. A relocation was also stated to have been offered but was never arranged, and reception confirmed that no such request had been made. Communication from the host subsequently ceased. Payment was also required via an external link rather than through Booking.com. Overall, this involved significant misrepresentation of the listing, poor communication, and an unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend this property at all — WELL BELOW ACCEPTABLE STANDARDS.

Feeling scammed

Our stay was nonexistent. We arrived only to find nothing available. Late check in was approved, to no avail. Took us roughly 2 hour to acquire accommodations elsewhere. To only later get follow up message the next day from host saying they changed our room number by neglected to notify us. Bookings.com offered (too late for usage) a credit up to a certain amount, but only if we'd booked new accomodations through them and for the same dates. I suppose they expected us to sleep on the streets for the night til morning. As it took 4 people to search for accomodations in the lateness of the night. All the while being repeatedly hounded by the hotel to stand outside their lobby (even though I'm handicap and was quietly on the phone calling around) to figure out where to go. And no sooner as I went outside their lobby, then we're told because security has to make their rounds we were needing to exit the secure gated area. I refused until new accomodations were found. Luckily, because as soon as we did the wi-fi was lost( they did allow me to use theirs) and we'd already used up all our credits... So no cellphone wifi anymore. We couldn't even verify that the taxi would arrive or not. So now we're standing in darkness, on the streets of New Kingston. So not a pleasant experience. Even if we had a different room number... After inquiring again giving our names, the alternative room information should have shown up. Bookings.com says it's up to the host to reimburse additional compensations for our inconvenience. Shame on both. Especially since I use them multiple times in the last 30 days and throughout the last few years, and had another booking through them after this booking. Oh, but I will get my refund...soon I was told. Scammers everywhere.

Being stranded, in the streets of New Kingston in the dark due to the claim that they changed our room number but neglected to notify us and the hotel couldn't apparently even find it using our names either. The desk worker and the security guard told us this happened several times before. Room being double booked so it's basically whomever arrives 1st. Even though , I received approval for late check in due to late flight schedule. But that wouldn't account for later being emailed the next day that they actually had just changed our room. We ended up walking 25 minutes to an Airbnb. In the dark arriving after midnight. Dragging luggage and walking with a cane, and poor night vision. I hurt for the 2 days. Y'all know how bad the streets and sidewalks are in Jamaica in most areas.

Property was clean and spacious. I went there to relax and I definitely got to do that. The location is quiet and central. Had no difficulties finding my way. The representative was easily accessible and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.
