Excellent location. The staff were incredibly friendly

Staff was excellent -- every person we encountered especially Alfonso. They were always helpful and kind. Room was well appointed with fridge and water. Shower is narrow but solid hot water. The breakfast was served in the room off the lobby and it was ok. Decent amount of food but nothing was really outstanding in terms of the food taste or options (nothing really local).
The location was quite far from the center of Lisbon areas like Baixa, Chiado, Alfama and we didnt realize that it is a 30 min uphill walk back to the hotel. Its a quieter neighborhood area and close to metro station though. So it depends on what you are looking for in terms of location-- shorter walk or quieter neighborhood.
Laundry service through the hotel is over the top in terms of pricing ($12 eu per shirt!) We would have used it if it was reasonable. Maybe get a new service for guest laundry or better yet or partner with a close by self service laundry.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location was very convenient, with a supermarket and many restaurants nearby, and getting around by Uber was easy. The balcony was also a very nice addition to the room.
One night, the neighbors were very loud, which made it difficult to sleep, but this was not the hotel's fault. The bathroom had a frosted glass sliding door instead of a regular door. A small table and chair in the room would also have been appreciated.
