Great and comfortable city stay

Great apartment with a very central location and felt like being a local in the property instead of a tourist. Very good and comfortable hotel bed. Quiet and still in the middle of a busy street. Had everything you need for a great city stay!

Unfortunately cigarette smoke came through at night in the air condition so it smelled of smoke and traveling with a child that didn’t feel good. Air condition was very noisy. Also stains of a water damage in the bathroom although it didn’t smell of mold but wouldn’t feel safe staying there mold wise for a longer period. The comfy bed and great decor of the new apartment makes up for it.

Great Location, Well Sized and Furnished Apartment in a Super Neighborhood (with some minor caveats)

Very good location near Plaza del Duque de la Victoria, calm neighborhood with a lot of shops and restaurants (ALDI, El Corte Inglés et.), nice small plazas around… The apartment itself is functional, good size, communication with the host, key pickup worked well, one hour earlier check-in was convenient, a luggage locker (consigna) next door.

Well, the apartment could need some refurbishment (but summed up: still okay), when entering the really nice house from Calle Trajano the luxury lobby is very welcoming, but your apartment in the 2nd floor is…hmm…not bad…the rooftop pool area amoenities…hmm…quite okay, the pool itself is really nice (after the photographs in the Bookingcom descriptions you could have expected a bit more from the rooftop). Kitchen equipment ok with fridge, microwave, expresso machine, two hotplates…dishes quite okay (no wine glasses, the salt for the apartment we bought for a few cents per kilo in the Aldi, no pepper…but the good things by far outweigh our niggles) another niggle: The plumbing 🪠 of kitchen sink and bathroom sink, (a bit) stinking, poorly draining.

Great!

Really nice place! Not ideal for non-couples, there aren't two duvets available even if you decide to share a bed :). In April a little cold inside, but there were heaters at our disposal. Amazing building interior, great contact with the owner - always ready to help out. Would definitely come back. Great location too.
