Wonderful spacious stay near Chania

We had a wonderful stay at Le Mont Blanc. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment and it was immense – incredibly spacious, with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. There was more than enough room for our family. Having a washing machine was also a huge plus and made our life so much easier, especially during a longer summer holiday. The private outdoor space was very generous. We loved having breakfast outside in the shade and dinner while watching the beautiful sunset. Around lunchtime it could get quite hot, so perhaps an additional umbrella or some extra shade would make the terrace even more enjoyable throughout the day. The pool and pool area were amazing. Our kids had a great time and quickly made friends with other children staying there. They loved sitting together and playing games around the large communal table. Some additional shade over that table would have been lovely during the hottest hours, but this is a very minor point – after all, we come to Greece for the sunshine! Our host was fantastic, and so was Maria, the lovely housekeeper who looked after our apartment during our stay. Everything was very well cared for and we felt very welcome. The village itself isn’t particularly picturesque, but it is extremely convenient. Chania is close by, there are several beautiful beaches within easy reach, and you have restaurants, shops and pharmacies within walking distance. A couple of tips for future guests: Chania, and even the village, can get very busy during the summer season. Dinner reservations are definitely advisable. For some of the most popular restaurants in Chania, we found that booking 3–4 days in advance was necessary. Also, bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The apartment provides shower gel and hand soap – which are actually amazing – but no shampoo or conditioner.

There was very little we didn’t like. If we had to mention anything, a bit more shade on the private terrace and over the large communal table by the pool would have been welcome during the hottest part of the day. Shampoo and conditioner are not provided, so it’s worth bringing your own. The village itself is more practical than picturesque, but its convenient location, proximity to Chania and nearby beaches more than made up for this. These are all minor points and didn’t affect our very enjoyable stay.

Good place to relax

Location and view are incredible. Everything was clean and the communication with the host was very easy and friendly.

Fantastic, well equipped, modern appt, quiet, calm area, with the most stunning views and great host

The most stunning views from the terrace. Its half way up a mountain and you can see from the stream to the sea. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises, even when it was wet and windy, only a couple of days, the views were awe inspiring! I sat on the terrace and joined my online yoga class once! The appt is very modern and well equipped and Maria, who comes to clean, is a lovely, kind and helpful woman. I didnt have a car, and found the walk in to the village fine, several supermarkets, a couple of bars and about half a dozen tavernas, although cooking at home in this appt was also a pleasure. The locals were friendly and helpful with info and directions, too There is a local bus in to Chania , which is fairly regular, as its just next to the University, so used by lots of students. Our host, Aggeliki was both helpful and responsive, she was a great source of info and help during our stay

Finding it, initially, wasn't very easy, as there is only a small sign. However, it was really private, secluded and unspoiled, so I think the discreet signposting is probably a good thing!

Ideal hillside with viewsand top of the line homes , pool and hospitality

Amazing everything. Views, units interiors and finishes, as well as the management company’s assistance and availability not to mention Aggelikis recommendations for incredible day trips. Will return 100%
