A comfortable clean cottage, absolutely beautiful decor. Has everything you need for a lovely stay. Comfortable beds with linen provided. We liked the location next to the pub and near to shops. Great for exploring the surrounding countryside, however we were only there for a couple of days.

The back bedroom has a small double bed (not normal size), so for 2 people its quite a squeeze. We arent big people and we managed but this is something to consider before booking, especially for a longer stay.

The property was well equipped but felt quite small. The heating worked well and the beds were very comfortable

Didn’t like the parking as our wing mirrors nearly touched the walls and the protruding drain covers, which we couldn’t see when we arrived in the dark, scraped the underneath of our car. The protruding nails on the carpet grip at the top of the stairs were a hazard to bare feet and negotiating around the two larger beds was tricky. The firestick didn’t work and couldn’t get iPlayer on the TV, we so our planned Friday night viewing had to be abandoned much to the disappointment of my girls

Second time staying here now. Great location and lovely place to stay. James the host kindly gave us early check in if nobody had stayed the previous night. Beds are comfy and the cottage is clean and tidy every time. No complaints with the house or the stay.

Fire stick for the tv wasn’t working this visit, but wasn’t a deal breaker.

Very clean with all the facilities you need and a pretty garden to relax in. Perfectly situated on the edge of the New Forest, next door to the pub and a Londis and near a lovely little cafe but still quiet.
