Svingen Guesthouse - Panoramic Fjord Views in Flåm

Easy to find and it was close to the train station, just a couple of minutes walk. The view of the fjord was beautiful. The room was comfortable and clean. You could use the kitchen to store things or cook as well. I would definitely want to come back and stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Its location was excellent, close to the Flåm Railway and visitor centre, making it easy to explore and return to the accommodation. The central location was especially convenient, even with our luggage. Our room was spacious, clean, warm, and offered a lovely sea view. As we were staying on the ground floor, the nearby bathroom and washroom were very convenient. The shared kitchen was also clean and well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. A special mention goes to our lovely host, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She even folded our laundry and put it away neatly, saving us time and hassle. I truly appreciate her thoughtfulness and the extra care she showed us. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this property. The host is doing an amazing job, and her kindness made our experience even more memorable!

We really liked our stay and have no complaints. However, we have one small suggestion for improvement. We were unsure whether guests are allowed to use the washing machine and dryer available at the property. If these facilities are available for guest use, it would be helpful to provide a note mentioning the permitted usage hours. If they are not available for guests, a clear notice would help avoid any confusion. This small clarification would make the stay even more convenient for future guests.

Too many things to list but Cathy & Wayne are lovely hosts. Location is superb slightly away from the main part of town but still very close. The uninterrupted view of the fjord in front is breathtaking. Fresh coffee in the morning, kitchen facilities, peaceful places to sit and relax and take in the view.

Not much, a little noisy one morning when people left early.

The house was clean, plenty of lounge rooms to look out over the fjord through big windows, well stocked kitchen with ample fridge space, handy to everything.
