Great location, nice apartment

The apartment is in a great location and in a good size, we were 3 people and it was perfect for us.

The elevator wasn’t working during our stay and it was quite difficult to carry all of our suitcases but I believe that there is nothing that the apartment owners could do about it.

5 / 10

overall poor stay not worth the money.

good location, spacious place.Fully equipped kitchen.

Bathroom was a bit tacky and tired and needed bit of TLC. Kitchen although well equipped, was old and not very clean. check-in process was chaotic, check-in time agreed was 16:00 but we could not get in until 17:35pm. We were made to wait over 1h outside the property. Communication by the staff was bit poor as well.

Not bad

I was nice to have some welcome small bottle of wine with local cookies. Location of the property is perfect, just in the center - everything is close. Towels and bed linen were clean. Size of the flat is nice.If you need to rent car - agency that manage the property can help.

Didn't like the blinds (persianas) on the windows, it wasn't work properly. You can't put it up and all the time I was filling like in prison. I was paid extra €20.00 just because I check-in late (after 23:30). I didn't understand why not just to leave keys of the property in some safe place and don't stress people with it. It was stressful since beginning regarding my name of the reservation ( even after I text directly to agent). And finishing with WiFi code, that agent who opened for us door didn't gave us right password for WiFi (it was shame to wait for our check-in and not be ready with simple questions). A lot of calls on the day of check-in that was made by agent even after confirmation of timings- they need to understand that a lot of people who come to Funchal they are from the plain that some time delay, and not arriving on time, taking time to take bus/taxi/uber and finally to find the adress and not necessary call every 15-30min to ask where are you. Even on the day of check-out agency was asking me at that time I will do it - i received few massages regarding that , it was very unoing. On the booking it clearly says that you need to check-out before 12:00 - so leave the people enjoy their stay until the end. The property is need some refurbishment. It's not bed to stay but becouse of agency that manage it I don't recommend it.
