Easy access location 👌

Great location made up for the minor irritants. Spotlessly clean as far as we could tell and beds comfy.

Desperately needs fans and full length mirrors. Extractor fan didn't work in main bathroom. TV far too high on the wall. Not enough info on the hob as we could only get the middle one to work in a fashion so couldn't really cook.

Sadly, rather dispiriting

Sadly, not a lot. The house was very clean and relatively newly furnished. The hot water and heating were very good (it was quite cold in May this year) and having the computer controlled heating was great. However, there were no instructions on how to use it for anyone not familiar with such a system. The child/dog stairgates were excellent: I will buy one the same for our home.

The furniture, though very new, was very uncomfortable. This included the sofas and the one bed we used. The bedroom was actually tiny and, though we appreciated the large bed, there was hardly any room to get round it. Two of the bedrooms had no wardrobes, just a few hangers on hooks on the wall, and one had no drawer unit either. The kitchen was not really well equipped, especially for six people. There were only 6 dinner plates, six side plates, six small cereal bowls, six cups with no saucers and 4 mugs. You would have to have washed up after every meal if you'd been a family, so what was the point of a dishwasher. There was nothing to cook pizza on, no pizza cutter, no pasta bowls etc. All a bit minimal. There was no garden, front or back. The patio table was in a communal back yard with all the bins up at one end, and other houses rubbish or seating there too. The front patio was also a shared concrete area. People from the end house could walk straight past our front windows. There was no parking. The booking.com website used the word'parking', admittedly not indicating private or off road, but then our joining instructions advised that we 'would be lucky to find a space on the road outside'. This was correct, and we spent over £20 on public overnight parking. There wasn't even a facility to offload our luggage at the house. Two of the carparks were also closed during our stay because of filming taking place at Conwy Castle. If the owners are local, they would have known of this and might have advised us. The information provided in the property was absolutely minimal, and was clearly an afterthought. The cottage was dark and gloomy due to the wall at the back and the trees at the front.

What a great place to visit, and an absolute win for accommodation.

Overall the experience was exceptional. So these points are purely nit-picking. The TV felt far too high on the wall, making it quite uncomfortable to view. Also the rear automatic light didn't seem to have an override, and did interrupt the sleeper in the back bedroom, on the first night.
