It was even cooler than the pictures make it look. The views are incredible and it was so convenient to have an enough bathrooms to not have to share between 3 couples.
The air conditioning was quite loud and one of the blinds was broken (did not raise or lower). The blinds did not bother me but the a/c did keep me awake during the night.

The view was amazing. The overall appearance of the penthouse was beautiful. Very clean. The beds were comfortable (if like very firm mattresses). The master bedroom/bathroom was very accessible for my parents. My dad uses a walker and it was easy for him to get in and out of the shower. A few stability bars would make it more accessible. This apartment came up as accessible on the app, some handicap bars and a bench in the main shower would make it even better. The concierge in the main lobby were very friendly. They don't work for Cloud9 so there ability to help is limited.
The penthouse definitely appeared much larger in the pictures. I know that is a marketing technique and I should have looked at square footage. My parents are both 86 yrs old and my dad uses a walker. The place was very accessible for him. The plan was for him to have more room to roam inside. It looked far more spacious in the photos. The balconies where another huge reason we rented this place. There's no furniture on the main balcony to enjoy the view. The master BR had one chair on the balcony, but with 7 people staying, it made it not so enticing. We had plans of morning coffee and evening drinks on the balcony that were not really possible. The dishwasher door is VERY heavy and not spring loaded. When its open it falls very hard and fast to the ground. The dishwasher is not secured stationary under the counter. When opening the door the dishwasher leans forward from the weight. I mention this because day one I went to load dishes and the door came down on my foot extremely fast and hard. Ended up with a very soar bruised foot for the entire trip. We messaged Cloud9. If this happened to either of my parents , it would have had a bigger impact on our trip.
There are earplugs provided in every room. Use them for a good nights sleep. Sound carries in the apartment, whether its from outside or a conversation in the living room you will definitely hear it in the bedrooms.
