The location was fantastic and in view of Peak Cavern "The Devil's Arse!" which myself and my friends were in Castleton for, to see a couple of shows and celebrate a friend's birthday. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. The surrounding Derbyshire countryside was every bit as spectacular as I remember, although busier than 18 years ago when I last walked up Mam Tor & along the ridges there.

Can't think of anything. Ben was quick to respond to queries and helpful.

The cottage was in an excellent position....quiet well equiped....had everyhting we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Great communication with the host and a welcome bonus to have the Parking permit for the close by car park

Situated right in the centre of castleton, decent size and had everything you would need for a short stay. I would happily recommend and return . The car park is 3 or 4 minutes away this was fine for us but may be an issue for some with mobility issues.

All main areas , bathroom, kitchen , bedding etc were clean , however some of the communal areas could do with a good sweep / dust. However I appreciate this is a country cottage and it did not adversely effect our stay.

Location was really good. Within close proximity to village shops. Also stone throw from Peak Cavern. Parking was also nearby.

Bed mattresses need replacing, they weren’t the most comfortable.
