About this house rental
Here, you’re guaranteed a front-row seat. Right on the harbor in Greetsiel—in one of the most beautiful vacation homes ever: Huus an’t Diek, built in 1850 (92 square meters).
The two workers’ houses, which were once built into the dike, are truly unique. The large Huus an’t Diek bears the date 1850, but it’s said to be even older. The vacation home has been completely renovated and can accommodate up to 4 people.
It is partly furnished with antique pieces—yet modern, with a built-in kitchen and everything you need: an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and much more. The prices are all-inclusive: you’ll find bed linens, hand towels, bath towels, and other household linens provided. Wi-Fi, 2 TVs, a radio, plenty of books, and much more are available.

The “Huus an’t Diek,” built in 1850, was expanded in 1910 to include a separate house right next door. Since then, it has been known as a “twin house.” Both—completely independent of one another—are now vacation homes.
Guests get a front-row view of Greetsiel: the harbor is less than 50 steps away. You look directly out onto the harbor.
The house is less than 300 meters from the historic center of the most beautiful fishing village on the North Sea. There are many cozy restaurants serving delicious seafood dishes and other culinary specialties.
Small shops, cafés, and galleries round out the offerings—as does the wellness oasis, less than 400 meters away, featuring a spa and more. In addition to the sights in Krummhörn, the seaport city of Emden, as well as Norden, Norddeich, Aurich, and Leer, are also worth visiting...
