Lovely property - very private & secluded in a lush setting. Comfortable with every amenity, it was perfect for our 3 nights in Volcano with good proximity to the park & other places of interest. Our host was super responsive and friendly, offering suggestions and terrific rec’s. Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to return. Thank you, Steve!

We had a great stay at Volcano One. Steve is a great host. The unit is so comfortable - couch, kitchenette, comfortable King size bed, and fantastic porch. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the frogs. That area is a rain forest and the foliage is amazing. This location is so close to the park and to the small villages where you can eat out. It is about 40 minutes from Hilo. Which turned out great for us. I was able to go into the park easily when the weather changed to get a different view. Very peaceful stay. Thanks Steve! I highly recommend!

The location was excellent for exploring the National Park. You are surrounded by nature! It’s absolutely beautiful as well as very private and quiet (aside from the ubiquitous coquis at night). The host provided so many lovely little amenities - coffee, macadamia nuts, chocolates, brochures for things to do and places to eat, soaps in both masculine and feminine scents. The bed and linens were comfortable. If you don’t need to cook, the studio is well equipped, and mornings sipping coffee on the lanai were such treat.
The only minus is it could have been cleaner. We did quite a bit of wiping down of surfaces before settling in.

Beautiful surroundings -- it is rucked in a fern jungle. Lovely decor. Very comfy. The owner quickly fixed a tricky showerhead. Very convenient to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Extremely quiet neighborhood.
