About this apartment rental
A modern and carefully designed villa apartment with a large flowered garden in an enchanting location (the house sits on a promontory overlooking the sea with an exceptional view). It offers all the comforts of home, including a large, furnished 50-square-meter terrace with a unique and breathtaking sea view. The atmosphere is one of total relaxation and tranquility. It features a living room, a spacious kitchen, two bedrooms (sleeps 4 + 1 extra), and a bathroom with a shower. Beach equipment, including a beach umbrella, deckchairs, etc., is also available. A table for al fresco dining on the furnished terrace is also available. A holiday of total relaxation and tranquility: outdoor shower, barbecue, parking space inside the villa, and remote-controlled gate opening. The apartment includes a washing machine, air conditioning, hairdryer, iron, satellite TV, etc., and is located 100 meters from the sea, which is full of rocks and coves within walking distance. Equipped beaches are about 1/2 km away, just a few minutes away. The villa is located in 'Capo San Marco', an elegant residential area of villas, a relaxing environment where you can enjoy the silence and, above all, the sea (there is a beautiful sea view from the terrace). Sciacca is a tourist and spa town, with a historic center, a fishing port and pleasure boating, rich in agriculture, wine and olive oil production, and Sciacca serves excellent fresh fish dinners. This location also allows easy excursions to nearby Agrigento, the Valley of the Temples, Selinunte, Segesta, Erice, Trapani, Palermo, Scopello, Zingaro Park, etc., less than 100 km away. A small additional fee per week is required for air conditioning in the summer and/or central heating in the winter, for Wi-Fi, and for additional beds beyond four. The house rules, provided to guests upon arrival, are an integral part of the rental agreement. The apartment and everything inside will be sanitized before check-in.

The view was spectacular. Accommodations were adequate. Owners were pleasant. The pictures and description of property were misleading. They present the property as a single downstairs unit with a roof top patio. The actual entrance in a narrow iron staircase up to a loft unit and patio with the owners living downstairs. My son kept hitting his head because of the loft ceiling angles. My daughter and I couldn't have managed even the luggage without my sons' assistance. If anyone with any physical limitations booked it, they would never be able to stay.

Great location with a deck that overlooks the Mediterranean. We had an easy access to the Valley of Temples, Palermo and Segesta. We would recommend this place to anyone.

We have spent a wonderful two-week holiday in this apartment. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace across the colourful garden and sparkling Mediterranean towards Sciacca and the mountains beyond. It is well worth getting up early in the morning to watch the sunrise.It is an ideal location for exploring the fascinating layers of history in this region, from the ancient ruins at Segeste and the classically beautiful temples of Agrigento, to the dramatic medieval town of Erice. Relaxing days can be spent at the local family beach of San Marco or at the more remote locations in the vicinity of Eraclea Minoa. We did not attempt to use public transport and a car is probably a necessity. And our advice – “when in Sicily drive like a Sicilian!”The apartment is comfortable, well-appointed and good value for money. However, it is the owners, Giuseppe and Iryna, who set this apartment above all others. They are very unobtrusive but more than willing to help if asked. Giuseppe will proudly share his local knowledge and give advice on sites to visit and places to eat. But, more importantly, we will always be eternally grateful for their support, kindness and generosity when my husband required urgent medical treatment. Giuseppe acted as our chauffer, interpreter and carer during our hospital visits. We appreciate everything he did for us and will never be able to thank him enough. We also thank Iryna for supplying comfort food and polishing our car before our return journey home. Above and beyond the call of duty! Whether Jim is allowed to go on holiday again is up to the result of Brexit and his wife!!!
