Spacious, lovely views, central location and super comfortable beds
A bit more attention to basic detail needed eg. soap container in shower was empty

Location was fab. It was a spacious apartment with lots of art deco features.
Noise coming from above floor areas and a barking dog nearby that kept me awake.
Apartment seemed 'lived in' - there were lots of 'left over' sauce bottles in the pantry, there was a used towel hanging on a door and the entire place needed a real deep clean.

Large and comfy in the cbd with river views.
Washer/dryer combo not used to set up with no instructions. Could not get our washing dry.

The property was spacious and in a good location. The master bedroom was large with a comfortable bed. An extra bed was provided without us requesting it, which was handy for our children.
We had to contact the property for the check-in code after the stated 2 pm check-in time.
The house smelled strongly of damp and mustiness, especially the second bedroom. We had to run the dehumidifier throughout our stay and emptied it three times in one day. The wardrobes smelled damp and had black mould, so we couldn’t use them.
The second bedroom was missing a curtain, allowing the bathroom light to shine into the room at night. A noisy water pipe outside ran all night, and a neighbour’s dog barked periodically overnight.
The shower pressure was very poor, and the outdoor bins were already full, leaving nowhere for our rubbish. The kitchen lacked basics such as dishcloths, a grater and a chopping board. One toaster had a melted cord and looked unsafe, so we didn’t use it. The TV was also very small for the lounge.
We accidentally left an expensive pillow behind and contacted the owner to arrange its return, offering to cover courier costs. Although he responded initially, we received no further response, even after following up, which was disappointing.
