The supermarket and bakery are a 15-minute walk from the house; the beach is a 7-minute walk away.
Punta Ala, surrounded by pine trees, was built in the 1960s. It is a unique location in the Maremma region of Tuscany, with beautiful scenery, a wonderful sea, and lovely beaches, an elegant marina, and a fantastic golf course with breathtaking views.
The calm, crystal-clear sea is the ideal place for very young children.
In Punta Ala, the houses are nestled in the pine forest. There is indeed a village, but Gualdo—a bustling hub of various businesses (all the essentials)—and the flat-rate shops and the harbor, with excellent restaurants, pizza places, and ice cream shops, as well as many elegant boutiques, are the two hubs of local life, offering a wide variety of services.
The hotel is located in the heart of Etruria; its strategic location allows for easy access to many of the region’s main attractions.
And “it is possible to rent sailboats or motorboats to explore the Tuscan archipelago, or rowboats for shorter trips.” The rugged coastline itself and the various islands dotting the sea lend themselves to a variety of excursions.
