Good location but Apartment not as nice as shown in pictures. Dingy apt with a bad bathroom

This is a good central location with everything a tourist needs within a quick walking distance including groceries, restaurants, bars, cafes, tourist sites, laundry services, a little mall, bank machines. It does get noisy and remains noisy till well into the early morning hours due to the location being so central, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Also it is affordable considering the location (we booked this place for two weeks, as a home base for Lima and other parts of Peru).

While this place came up when I filtered for 5 guests including children, it is clearly NOT made for 5 people as there are only two double beds in total, one in each of the tiny rooms. Basic things not provided including: shampoo, soap (there were a few used up bars of soaps which were clearly left over from previous guests, yuck!), enough toilet paper, laundry detergent (advertised as having laundry in the unit), dish sponge (I bought one & supplied it in the unit), no kitchen towels to wipe the countertop & sink after eating & washing (bought kitchen paper towels ultimately), no extra garbage bags, no clean mop or broom to do some light sweeping (theres a dirty looking old mop in the laundry room). Note that the laundry room is open to the sky, so if it rains, expect rainwater to accumulate on the floor of the laundry room and drip onto the living room floor. We discovered this on our first morning here, but I decided to not make a fuss and cleaned it up myself. Now I know that I should have made a complaint right away, if not outright walked out of the place. I’m not here to deal with flooding problems in an apartment, which is not my home, and which the listing never indicated and then host had said nothing about—it’s a bait and switch. Also not enough pillows provided for 5 guests. My son had been sleeping on a small sofa pillow which strained his neck. Also, only two towels were initially provided for 5 guests, and we had to ask for enough towels for everyone— again it was clear in the booking that 5 guests were coming so enough pillows and towels should have been provided in the first place. Washroom is small and damp and does not look clean (has mold and grout. EVERYWHERE). Again the listing’s picture does not demonstrate this (you can see my own photos posted here to see what this washroom truly looks like & no photo can do justice to how bad this bathroom really looks).
