AVOID++, not worth the stress of dealing with Minty Living. PLEASE read to end of review!
The location is excellent. Peaceful and relaxing yet a short walk to shops/restaurants. Unit is beautifully decorated, lost of light, nice porch
Disliked · 1. The previous review lists some issues which have all remained the same. It's funny that response from property says they wish they had been informed of these issues so they could address them. That was in 2024 and they remain unchanged. Specifically a lot of noise from unit above, broken bathroom window remains unfixed, faucet still broken, dirty patio, bugs etc. None of these actually bothered me but interesting that none have been attended to during this period 2. Safety- on arrival, I was looking around unit, opening doors. Opened a door to find myself in someone else's apartment ! No lock, no sign, nothing to indicate I was about to find myself in another unit. Potentially so dangerous. Contacted Minty Living about this , nothing done. Took video in case they try to deny it. 3. Worst part of all- advised in advance would be travelling w a service dog. After check out, Minty Living emailed me to say they were charging $475 for an unauthorised pet stay. It would be hard to summarise the number of emails that have since gone back and forth. They range from some employees acknowledging that the service dog was listed on my booking and apologising for the error to other employees (of the same company) emailing to say they would proceed with the charge. They don't even communicate with each other about what they are saying. The STRESS they caused me in the week after check out was immense. I cannot be more clear in warning people away from this company. They were rude and aggressive. They even filmed me on the porch and sent me the footage to prove I had the dog (the one they had been informed about in writing at time of booking). If you engage in any activities on porch where you think you have privacy, you are in fact being watched and recorded. Thankfully Booking.com sorted the issue in the end, but
