It felt like home away from home.Great size room and bed . I was on the top floor so I had a great view in the distance I could see the countryside and part of downtown. It was in a very quiet area away from the college kids ,within walking distance of the park,shops and food..The ladies came daily to clean all the common living areas. Two bathrooms, both had towel warmers.As an American visiting Belfast for the first time all the appliances were easy to use. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook a home-cooked meal(bring your own food ofcourse). Very accommodating, I showed up a day late and they were very understanding with easy self check-in. ,and super affordable. I would recommend this place everytime over a standard hotel..1 picture from my room window is attached.
I had two of the guests,a couple lock me out on the back smoking patio when they knew I was out there because we were all smoking out there at one in the morning and my key only worked for the front door. I had to go out the back gate and walk down a super dark alley with no way out other than to climb the giant locked gate.. It ofcourse was no fault of the owner but very scary and inconvenient. The only light in the photos was from my camera flash.

The room is in a quiet neighborhood, walkable to the city center (a marathon prevented us from using public transportation that day). The room was spacious enough and the bed comfortable. There was a well equipped shared kitchen to be freely used. Everything was bare minimum. I don’t get the prices in this city honestly!!
We went all around the Irish coasts but this place was the most expensive and still with the least quality service. The rooms were not clean (there were suspicious spots on the sheets) and hairs all over the shared bathroom. People used the shared bathroom as if it was their own, leaving their stuff everywhere so no one else had any room left. Rules should be enforced for a more comfortable shared environment. It is already a nuisance to climb a floor for the bathroom.
The kitchen was right next to our room, which is uncomfortable in the morning when other guests come down. The hosts were not responsive; when they demanded a 10 am checkout and we asked if there was any flexibility in this regard, they simply did not answer.
This was the last time we opted for the “cheaper” option in the city.
