It's cheap, clean, comfortable beds and the location is great. The cafe downstairs it's pretty stylish too, tho a bit pricey for Sapporo standards.
The staff at the front desk are always a bit racist towards non Japanese looking. Under Japanese law, Japanese nationals and permanent residents are not required to present a form of ID at the check-in. They never ask Japanese but they would never let me check-in without showing an ID, even after me having stated that under Japanese law, I'm not required to present an ID (and after they already know since I've already stayed there a few times).
My only wish I'd that they'd followed the Japanese law and stop being racist.

Clean and safe. Good facilities.
The mattress is not comfortable enough.

Good location. Luggage storage for a fee.
You have to pay for water at the vending machine. The rooms are very large with 10+ people in them. With only a curtain to pull across in front of the bed, the noise travelled a lot. I was also right next to the toilets and washroom, which keep the lights on 24h and was very bright. I didn't feel comfortable enough to relax in this hotel, even in the lounge areas.
