Set in a lovely location overlooking the harbour and easy to get to from the train station. The hamper was a very welcome addition especially the glass milk bottle from the local dairy. Lovely cafes around the harbour and a great view from the old fort. The bridge opens every few hours to let big boats through.
It was all lovely. No complaints.

Beautiful, relaxing stay in Monarch. Really lovely welcome hamper full of tasty local products. Clean and comfy throughout. Amazing views to wake up to. Morning coffee on the balcony is something I'm missing already and having an evening drink with all the pretty lights was heaven. Really lovely watching all the boats. Some harbour noise as expected and if there are bands on nearby you can hear them really well which we enjoyed. Highly recommend, great location and views!
The shower sometimes lost pressure and temperature.
