This is a 15th Century building with the stable block converted into accommodation. The room we occupied was very large with all the usual amenities, pristine clean with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast menu was comprehensive as was the dinner menu. My only suggestion is that a help yourself coffee and tea facility would enhance its facilities.Excellent hotel at the price.

Warm welcoming staff throughout. Very accommodating to us and our dog! Would highly recommend and certainly will be back!

A nice room if a little on the small side. Lovely staff. The one drawback here is the food. Very expensive and slightly below ‘adequate’. As an example a meat sharing plate was £48 but had a couple of normal sausages, 2 eggs, small bit of chicken and 3 tiny steak chunks. So disappointed by the food that we cancelled our dinner reservation. If you are staying just for the rooms though they a good location.

The staff were the best bit about the Huntsman, so friendly and quick to resolve anything that arose. Rooms were super clean. You could hear the music from the pub which over the three nights we stayed, always turned off before 10.50pm but if you have children or are early to bed that might be an issue.
