About this house rental
Set within a 5-hectare estate—ideal for families or groups of friends—in the heart of the Loire Valley, you’ll enjoy being transported to a natural retreat featuring meadows, woods, a pond, a washhouse, mill races, a river, and an artesian spring. You’ll have exclusive use of 350 m² of the property, including part of the historic 19th-century mill with its 4 bedrooms, its library and reception area, as well as a second building featuring a TV lounge with foosball, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen situated in front of the outdoor pool, which is heated from June 15 to September 15.

Awesome property...not the most convenient witbout a car.Frederic was a most gracious and helpful host...even flew our national flag to welcome us!Pool was most needed, but AC or ceiling fans in bedrooms would be extra nice.Would highly recommend!

The property is lovely very well equipped. Frederick the host was very informative and very helpful. There was 8 in our party there was plenty of space to relax. Very enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend

3 couples enjoyed our stay at Moulin Chareau immensely. It is in a central location for visiting the chateaus of the Loire Valley. The Moulin is beautiful, unique and the grounds are lovely. Frederico is so friendly and helpful - suggested itineraries for our visit, restaurants and more. We would highly recommend this VRBO.

Fréderic, our host, could not have been more welcoming. He did everything possible to ensure our stay was enjoyed by every member of our group. The setting was amazing with the old mill and its adjoining pond. Even better than the photos.We enjoyed our apéros and meal down by the water. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure to climb the centuries' old staircase to our rooms each night. The pool is one of the largest we have had in a rental. There are no words to describre the beauty and tranquility of the place. We were all sad to leave and several members of our group said they would love to live there. It is definitely a 10-star place.
