Very nice place, nice deck in back of the house, and another deck over the water. We also used a grass area by the water in between 2 shade trees. Central A/C worked very well, sauna was nice, we used the hosts 2 kayaks plus 2 of our own; easy in and out of water. Allison communicates well, provided tips and guidance, and is a great host. 3 bathrooms was nice since we had a good size group. Thank you Allison.

Our family of five and a dog was more than comfortable at this lovely property. We truly appreciated having the cozy in-law quarters, and the dock made watching sunsets on the river even more special. Thank you!

Overall, a nice property with great potential, but it needs some attention. The location was peaceful and the setting beautiful, especially being right on the water. However, a few maintenance issues stood out. We found dirty dishes in the cupboard, and the shed had broken boards lying around along with old leaves that hadn’t been cleared. The landscaping needs some major attention. There were visible wasps’ nests in the shed, which made the deck space unusable for us. Of the 11 outdoor chairs, 6 were either cracked or had ripped seats, making them unsafe or uncomfortable to use. While it was great that kayaks were provided, there were no life jackets available, which was a safety concern. The photos in the listing are clearly from quite some time ago. I wish I had taken more photos. With a bit of upkeep, this place could be fantastic. We enjoyed our time but hope to see some maintenace and cleaning take place.
