About this apartment rental
Nestled in the middle of a lush garden by the sea, allow yourself the privilege of staying in one of the most beautiful palaces on the French Riviera.
This Belle Époque apartment is located in the "Porte de France", a historical monument, built in 1867.
Sunbathe from the balcony and enjoy the sea view and the elegant Mediterranean garden of the palace. Travel back in time and make yourself comfortable in the living room bathed in light and decorated with a touch of Great Gatsby
The apartment is composed of 2 separate bedrooms: 1 master-bedroom with large storage closets and an en-suite bathroom; and 1 small bedroom. Each with a queen-size bed (160x200cm).
The apartment has 2 bathrooms: the master bedroom, and an additional one in the extension of the small bedroom. Each has a shower, a bidet, and a toilet.
The living room of the apartment has a modern fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge, Nespresso, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, dishes...) which is open to the dining / living room. The room has a view of the sea and the pretty port of Garavan, and has a small balcony on which it is possible to put 2 chairs.
A washing machine is at your disposal, as well as everything you need for baby (high chair and cot free of charge on request).
We provide all bed linen and towels, as well as bathrobes, which come from the Carré Blanc house and are of superior quality. To guarantee you comfort and optimal sleep, just like in a hotel.
We also offer a complete toiletry kit, basic necessities and a welcome basket.
You will have access to a private parking space closed in a box, which is located in the residence (difficult maneuvering).
The apartment is ideally located in front of the charming marina of Garavan. Walkers and boat owners enjoy the sun on the terrace by the water, where there are a dozen restaurants and bars, including the best brunch in town (Eunoia).
On the marina, about 5 min walk from the apartment, there is a supermarket (U Express) next to which you will have a children's park.
You might also like to shop in Italy! A 15-minute drive away, enjoy the traditional fruit and vegetable market of Ventimiglia which also offers homemade pasta and typical local dishes.
You will be 7 minutes walk from the nearest beaches, and 15 minutes walk from the historic center of Menton. You will also enjoy the majestic Parc du Pian which is 5 minutes away on foot, or Italy which is 1km away!
The advantage of being close to the centers of interest while being quiet away from tourists.
Finally, the Garavan station is located behind the building, and trains serve Italy as well as Monaco, Nice, Cannes.. etc
By car, you can park in the box of the residence reserved for you. If necessary, free parking is available along Avenue Porte de France, or in the perpendicular street Avenue Katherine Mansfield.

This is a loverly property with very good access to public transport and only a 25 minutes walk along the promenade into the old town.Don't let the lack of air conditioning put you off, the rooms are well ventilated with good ceiling fans.Could not ask for more.

Great communication, short walk to train, locked individual garage for your car. As you see in the photos this is a smart comfortable apartment with wonderful views. Short walk from the supermarket as well. Historic, secure, well maintained building with a proper lift. We had perfect weather, but I do wonder about if there air conditioning should it get hot.

This apartment was stunning close to the water and train station. Owner was gave great instructions on getting there and getting into the apartment.The apartment was everything you could ask for, kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms clean and well taken care of. The vibe was luxurious. Thanks for making our trip so memorable. We definitely will return to Menton.
