Beachwalk is a great family friendly place. The house we stayed at was clean and well stocked. The only complaint was that the powder room on the first floor needs a new doorknob/ lock. The door was very hard to open because it would stick or lock every time you closed. Also, the kitchen/living area was much smaller than what the picture led you to believe.

Home was nice but tight for the group of 13 that we had. Kitchen amenities were very minimal. No basic cooking items like oil or salt and pepper. Cooking utensils available were very minimal. Bunk beds in the basement needed to have all screws tighten which significantly improved the stability and noise that they made. Would have been nice to have small fans available in the bedrooms for warm summer nights when the a/c was not able to keep up. Outdoor space was lacking in comfortable seating options. Location to activity dock and playground was great.

Overall, this was a great property and worked very well for our group of 8 (two families). There were plenty of beds and sleeping arrangements, and the location was excellent. The included golf cart was a huge bonus and made it very easy to get to and from all of the resort amenities.That said, there were a few drawbacks. While the home accommodated our group for sleeping, the main living room and dining area felt quite cramped for 8 people. We managed, but I don't think the space would comfortably support hosting another family or larger gatherings.The outdoor space was also disappointing and did not match the quality of the home itself. Although there is a grill available, the outdoor dining table and chairs were very dirty, the picnic table was rotted, and the fire pit area was unkempt with overgrown weeds and a general lack of maintenance.Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. The location, sleeping accommodations, and convenience of the golf cart were definite highlights.

We love the Beachwalk Resort- we've been coming for over 10 years on and off. The management and staff were incredible during our stay and even after. Lake Life needs some love- it simply needs to be updated, cleaned, fixed and some additions are desperately needed. While the house sleeps a large number, the family room is TINY and can't accommodate more than 3 people. The house has a ton of potential- the location and fire pit area was great. With some time and effort, I think the property could be fantastic.
