One of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had.

Great view. Loved the chairs on the beach and the pools. The bed was comfortable and the condo was clean. Great restaurants close by. We will be back.

It was a horrible experience.

The view of the ocean.

We reserved Magnolia House 307 on April 9th. I received multiple emails and asked if we had condo 307 and was assured of my reservation. Throughout the week, I received 8 emails from Booking.com ensuring confirmation of my reservation and directions to contact Destin Pointe for arrival procedures. On April 14th, we called to get procedures for checking in Magnolia House 307 on the 16th. We called to see if we could rent the condo for the day before as well, but it was occupied. We understood. At 5:30 on April 14th, we received a phone call from Morgan at Destin Pointe stating they didn’t have our reservation for Magnolia House 307 and we couldn’t get it. She stated it was a mistake on Booking.com’s end. She found us another unit and said it was comparable to Magnolia 307. It was Magnolia 505. She sent me pictures and said we would enjoy it. We really didn’t have a choice since we had already paid and were on our way to Destin. Needless to say, when we arrived, the view was magnificent but the condo smelled musty and was very worn. There was one couch in the living room. I was sick and had to put my beach towel over the couch to lay on it due to the dirt and smell. My husband had no where to sit but a dining room chair. (We went and bought air fresheners for condo due to the smell.) on the first night when I went to bed I looked in the mirror on the closets and my feet were black from the dirty floors. The rest of the night and next morning we wore shoes. On the 17th, we decided to leave after being sick all night, it was definitely not a place to recover from a stomach bug. We have traveled to Destin for 30 years in fall and spring and love the East pass area, Magnolia 505, is the worst place we have rented. I received 8 emails from Booking.com during our confirming our reservation and do expect an email explaining what happened. Destin Pointe and Booking.com should refund the money. It’s very disappointing and have doubts about using Booking.com again.
